The Lab Centre is an integrated centre for education, research and diagnosis. The building is part of the open, urban structure of the hospital, where all the centers form an integrated hospital.

The Lab Centre is connected to the Women and Children’s Centre through a bridge. Similar facades in masonry bring the buildings together.

The medical lab services are executed with a focus on the patient, to give the patient the best treatment possible.  The building is also intended to be an inspiring place for students and employees, and future flexibility has been emphasized during the design process. The Lab Centre has a flexible building structure which efficiently can adapt to lab services of the hospital, university and society.close >>
