The building is divided into three main sections; church functions, activities section and administration. The church tower crowns the vestibule and announces the church out to the village. The church room has a capacity of about 420 seats, as well as a possibility for extension into common area/church square. The church construction consists of rhythmic laminated wooden frames rising inside the church room. The facades consist of transparent and opaque glass. The roof form is clad with steel plates giving the church robustness against the climate and reflects the functional and consecrated identity of the church.

Ratio won the 1st prize in a limited planning and design competition for a new church at Tau in collaboration with HBA Arkitekter in 2017. The church was completed in the autumn of 2021.
